Plumbing Workmanship Guarantee

Scope of Guarantee
Will’s Dad guarantees the workmanship of all plumbing-related handyman services for a period of one (1) year from the date of service. This guarantee applies only to the labor performed and ensures that the work was completed according to industry standards at the time of service.
If any workmanship-related issue arises within the guarantee period, we will return to correct the problem at no additional labor cost.
What is Covered?
✔ Toilet Replacements – Proper removal and replacement of toilets, ensuring a secure, leak-free seal at the flange.
✔ Faucet & Fixture Replacements – Installing or replacing bathroom and kitchen faucets, showerheads, and other fixtures.
✔ Garbage Disposal Replacements – Proper mounting and connection to existing plumbing and electrical.
✔ Water Supply Line & Shut-off Valve Replacements – Swapping out old or leaking supply lines and shut-off valves (where no pipe sweating is required).
✔ Basic Drain & P-trap Replacements – Replacing or adjusting P-traps and drain assemblies for sinks.
What is Not Covered?
❌ Licensed Plumbing Work – This guarantee does not apply to services that legally require a licensed plumber, including pipe sweating, modifications to plumbing systems, major pipe rerouting, or main water line work.
❌ Product Defects – Manufacturer defects in toilets, faucets, or other plumbing fixtures are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not this guarantee.
❌ Pre-existing Plumbing Issues – This includes corroded pipes, failing shut-off valves, poor water pressure, or improper plumbing setups that existed before our work.
❌ Drain Clogs & Blockages – Any clogs, slow drainage, or sewer-related issues after installation are not covered.
❌ Customer-Provided Materials – If a customer-supplied fixture fails due to manufacturer defects, incorrect specifications, or poor quality, this guarantee does not apply.
❌ Damage Caused by Others – Any damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, tampering, or additional work performed by another party voids this guarantee.
❌ Structural & Environmental Issues – Water damage from leaks in walls, shifting foundations, or other structural problems unrelated to our work is not covered. ❌ Lime Scale & Hard Water Buildup – The effects of hard water, including lime scale accumulation on pipes, fittings, shut-off valves, and fixtures, are not covered under this guarantee. If pre-existing lime scale buildup prevents proper installation, additional labor or part replacements may be required.
Additional Charges May Apply If:
Unforeseen conditions such as rotted subflooring, cracked toilet flanges, or improperly installed plumbing connections require additional repairs.
Adjustments or modifications outside the original scope of work are requested.
A service call is requested for issues not related to our workmanship.
How to Make a Claim
If you experience a workmanship-related issue within the one-year guarantee period:

Provide Proof of Service, such as the invoice number or date of completion.
We Will Inspect the Issue to determine if it falls under this guarantee. If covered, we will repair it at no additional labor cost.
Final Notes
This guarantee applies only to labor performed by Will’s Dad. We do not modify plumbing systems, install new piping, or perform work that requires a licensed professional. This guarantee does not replace the manufacturer’s warranty on plumbing products. We recommend that all plumbing fixtures be properly maintained and used according to manufacturer guidelines.
