General Handyman Workmanship Guarantee

Scope of Guarantee

Will’s Dad guarantees the workmanship of all general handyman services for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This guarantee applies only to the labor performed and ensures that the work was completed according to industry standards at the time of service.

If any workmanship-related issue arises within the guarantee period, we will return to correct the problem at no additional labor cost.

What is Covered?

Drywall Repair & Patching – Covers proper patching and finishing but excludes cracks caused by settling or structural movement.
Door & Lock Installations – Covers proper function and fit but excludes normal wear, warping, or misalignment due to house shifting.
General Repairs & Maintenance – Covers minor fixes and adjustments but excludes work on deteriorated or poorly maintained structures.
Furniture & Fixture Assembly – Covers correct assembly of furniture, shelving, and fixtures but excludes manufacturer defects or improper usage.
TV & Wall Mount Installations – Covers proper securing and mounting but excludes wall integrity issues or damage from excessive weight beyond recommended limits.
Shelving & Cabinet Mounting – Covers secure installation but excludes wall damage due to improper customer use or overloading.
Caulking & Sealing Work – Covers application but excludes normal wear, shrinkage, or water damage from leaks unrelated to our work.

What is Not Covered?

Structural Issues or Settling – We do not cover cracks, misalignment, or failures due to foundation settling, shifting, or structural movement.
Wear & Tear or Customer Damage – Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, or modifications made after our service are not covered.
Product Defects or Failures – Any issues caused by faulty materials, customer-provided items, or manufacturer defects must be addressed with the manufacturer.
Pre-existing Conditions – Any damage, deterioration, or issues present before our work are not covered.
Environmental or Water Damage – Damage caused by humidity, flooding, leaks, pests, or other environmental factors is not covered.
Unauthorized Modifications – If the work is altered, removed, or modified by another person after our service, the guarantee is void.

Additional Charges May Apply If:

  • Unforeseen conditions such as hidden structural damage, rot, or improper past installations require additional work.

  • Adjustments or modifications outside the original scope of work are requested.

  • A service call is requested for issues not related to our workmanship.

How to Make a Claim

If you experience a workmanship-related issue within the one-year guarantee period:

  1. Contact Us at william@willsdad.com or call 317-210-0827 with a description of the issue.

  2. Provide Proof of Service, such as the invoice number or date of completion.

  3. We Will Inspect the Issue to determine if it falls under this guarantee. If covered, we will repair it at no additional labor cost.

Final Notes

This guarantee applies only to labor performed by Will’s Dad and does not replace manufacturer warranties on products or materials. All work is performed under standard handyman service guidelines and does not include services that require a licensed professional.
