Carpentry Workmanship Guarantee

Scope of Guarantee

Will’s Dad guarantees the workmanship of all carpentry-related handyman services for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. This guarantee applies only to the labor performed and ensures that the work was completed according to industry standards at the time of service.

If any workmanship-related issue arises within the guarantee period, we will return to correct the problem at no additional labor cost.

What is Covered?

Trim & Molding Installation – Covers secure and level installation but excludes natural wood expansion or contraction.
Door Installations & Adjustments – Covers proper alignment and function but excludes shifting due to house settling or humidity changes.
Cabinet & Shelf Installations – Covers proper mounting but excludes failure due to overloading or improper use.
Framing & Small Wood Repairs – Covers labor for minor framing and wood repairs but excludes structural modifications.
Exterior Wood Repairs – Covers minor outdoor woodwork but excludes weather-related deterioration.

What is Not Covered?

Wood Expansion & Contraction – Natural swelling, shrinking, or movement of wood due to humidity, temperature, or settling is not covered.
Customer Damage or Modifications – Any damage, alterations, or misuse after installation voids the guarantee.
Product Defects – Any material defects or failures must be addressed with the manufacturer.
Structural Work – This guarantee does not cover structural modifications or repairs requiring engineering or permitting.
Environmental Factors – Water damage, pest damage, or exposure-related deterioration is not covered.

Additional Charges May Apply If:

  • Unforeseen conditions such as hidden structural damage, rotting wood, or improperly installed existing materials require additional work.

  • Adjustments or modifications outside the original scope of work are requested.

  • A service call is requested for issues not related to our workmanship.

How to Make a Claim

If you experience a workmanship-related issue within the one-year guarantee period:

  1. Contact Us at william@willsdad.com or call 317-210-0827 with a description of the issue.

  2. Provide Proof of Service, such as the invoice number or date of completion.

  3. We Will Inspect the Issue to determine if it falls under this guarantee. If covered, we will repair it at no additional labor cost.

Final Notes

This guarantee applies only to labor performed by Will’s Dad and does not replace manufacturer warranties on wood products or materials. All work is performed under standard handyman service guidelines and does not include services that require a licensed carpenter or contractor.
