Standard Minimum
$125 minimum charge applies by default to all service calls.
This covers travel, setup, tools, scheduling impact, and time.
Courtesy Minimum for Regular Clients (Exception)
A 1-hour minimum ($70) may be applied only if ALL of the following are true:
Client qualifies as a regular
3 or more service visits within the last 12 months
OROne substantial prior job ($500–$1,000+) with an established, positive relationship
Job qualifies
Clearly under 1 hour
Low risk / routine work
No unknowns, troubleshooting, or “we’ll see when you get here”
Logistics qualify
Within ~5 minutes / essentially on route
Does not disrupt the day or create schedule gaps
Can be slotted in without affecting other jobs
Automatic Reversion to $125 Minimum
If any of the following apply, the minimum is $125, no exceptions:
New or infrequent client
Job scope is unclear or could expand
Requires diagnosis, decision-making, or contingency work
Special tools, materials pickup, or extra setup
Out of the way or standalone trip
Late-day squeeze, after-hours, or time-sensitive stop
Non-Negotiables
No prorating for short time on site
No discounts just because the client is friendly
Encourage bundling small tasks into one visit when possible
When in doubt → default to $125 minimum
